We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Hyack Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and prepare menus, estimating food requirements for efficient realization
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
- Order supplies and equipment, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless operations
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Permanent employment
- English as the primary language of work
- 30 to 40 hours per week
