Job Summary

PAPA JOHN'S PIZZA is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality in our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports, as well as prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure the efficient operation of our food service operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment, or equivalent experience
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment, restaurant
  • Supervision: 5-10 people, including food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants and food preparers, kitchen and food service helpers
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods
