Job Title: Production Scheduler

FLINT Corp. is seeking a skilled Production Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and preparing production schedules for fabrication, installation, and maintenance of industrial process systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in conjunction with Site Management Team and Client lead to develop effective project planning and scheduling.
  • Ensure all spending is approved by the Project Manager.
  • Maintain master schedule for the project and identify and record the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled.
  • Deliver periodic project reports with accuracy and timeliness being essential.
  • Utilize custom layouts including critical path analysis, baseline comparisons, and look-ahead.
  • Facilitate effective front-end planning, construction, and turnover phases of the project.
  • Oversee the progress and productivity of all aspects of the project.
  • Monitor changes and provide what-if analysis and planning solutions.
  • Provide recommendations and ideas to improve the overall planning and scheduling process.
  • Ensure that all work being planned and scheduled adheres to the highest safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience using Primavera P6 and Prometheus required.
  • Excellent knowledge of project planning and scheduling in a mechanical setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Minimum 2 years mechanical scheduling/planning experience in a related industrial role.
  • Ability to interpret, evaluate and apply regulations, policies and procedures to a wide variety of work situations.
  • Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications.
  • Displays a safe and productive work ethics.
