Job Description

FLINT Corp. is seeking a skilled Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and preparing production schedules for fabrication, installation, and maintenance of industrial process systems. You will work closely with the Site Management Team and Client lead to ensure effective project planning and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain master schedules for projects, ensuring all spending is approved by the Project Manager.
  • Identify and record the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled.
  • Deliver periodic project reports with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Utilize custom layouts, including critical path analysis, baseline comparisons, and look-ahead.
  • Facilitate effective front-end planning, construction, and turnover phases of the project.
  • Monitor changes and provide what-if analysis and planning solutions.
  • Provide recommendations and ideas to improve the overall planning and scheduling process.
  • Ensure all work being planned and scheduled adheres to the highest safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience using Primavera P6 and Prometheus required.
  • Excellent knowledge of project planning and scheduling in a mechanical setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Minimum 2 years mechanical scheduling/planning experience in a related industrial role.
  • Ability to interpret, evaluate, and apply regulations, policies, and procedures to a wide variety of work situations.
  • Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications.
