Job Summary

CPKC is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Conductor to join our Operations team. As a Conductor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of trains across our network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate trains and manage rail yard activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, including the General Code of Operating Rules (GCOR).
  • Communicate effectively with crew members and other stakeholders to ensure smooth train operations.
  • Perform physical tasks such as walking, climbing, and lifting, as required.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions and shift schedules.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including a physical, vision, hearing, and drug test.
