Job Title: Nurse Team Lead

About the Role:

As a Nurse Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing hands-on clinical care to clients in their homes, while also supervising and mentoring a team of caregivers. You will work closely with clients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct client care and supervision of caregivers
  • Mentor and train caregivers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care
  • Collaborate with clients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote our services and build relationships with clients and caregivers
Requirements:
  • Current registration in good standing with the provincial nursing regulatory body
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Minimum 5 years of recent experience in a community nursing setting, with progressive responsibilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and lead a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
