Geriatric Nurse Opportunity

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Geriatric Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by the Physician.
  • Document and follow up on concerns and complaints from clients, family, or team members.
  • Promote self-care and self-sufficiency among clients, emphasizing adaptation and abilities.
  • Complete required assessments, RAPS, and care plans within timeframes.
  • Support unregulated care workers through guidance, direction, training, and education.
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate.
  • Current Medication Administration Certificate.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in Geriatric Nursing, Healthcare, and/or Rehabilitation as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN).
  • All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post-graduate studies in Geriatrics and Nursing Administration.
