Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Chronic Pain Physiotherapist to join our team at Hope to Health Clinic in Vancouver. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide evidence-based clinical assessment, treatment, and education to outpatients with chronic pain conditions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced physiotherapy assessments and treatments for patients with complex psychosocial and chronic pain conditions.
- Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop and plan evidence-based programs, services, and resources required by patients with chronic pain.
- Provide education and training to healthcare team members and patients on best practices regarding the management of functional and physical effects of living with chronic pain.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities to enhance patient care, service delivery, and clinical outcomes in chronic pain management.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, caregivers, and community therapists.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in physiotherapy and three years of recent experience working in a chronic disease management setting.
- Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of B.C. and eligibility for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
- Knowledge of physiotherapy clinical practice related to treatment and care of patients with chronic pain conditions.
- Ability to apply critical thinking and evidence-based approaches to develop assessment, treatment, and discharge plans.
Compensation
This position offers a competitive salary range of $41.32 - $51.40 per hour, based on location and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, professional development opportunities, and a dynamic work environment.
