Key Responsibilities:
  • Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Assist with serving meal trays and feeding patients
  • Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines and administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas as needed
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Bathe, dress, and groom patients, and transport them between care facilities as required
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs and provide assistance
  • Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
