Director of Banquets

At Accor, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Banquets to join our team. As a key member of our hotel's management team, you will be responsible for leading the Banquet department and ensuring that every event is a success.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the Banquet team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Direct and manage all activity related to the Banquet department, ensuring all service standards are followed and key performance indicators achieved.
- Organize, plan, and schedule for all functions in the Banquets area of the hotel.
- Oversee all aspects of banquet operations, including setup, service, and breakdown of events.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, hotel policies, and industry standards.
- Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during event planning and execution.
- 2-3 years previous Banquet leadership experience in a luxury service environment.
- Luxury five diamond operation experience preferred.
- Proven track record of managing high-profile events, including weddings, corporate functions, and galas.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or related discipline a strong asset.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
