Job Title: Executive Director of Culinary Operations

At Time Out Group Plc, we are seeking an exceptional Executive Director of Culinary Operations to lead our culinary team and drive the success of our Time Out Market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operating standards, policies, and procedures to ensure the highest standards of food and beverage quality, guest service, cost control, and consistency.
  • Lead the management team in maintaining a positive and productive work environment, fostering open communication, and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Partner with the Commercial Director to continually evaluate and curate concessions, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Manage the P&L, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements and reports, and providing controls to ensure proper handling and accounting for all restaurant receipts.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction on all levels, including social media platforms, and ensure that all products are received in accordance with the venue's receiving policies and procedures.
  • Oversee marketing and advertising activities to ensure consistency with product line strategy, and lead in creating sales goals.
  • Ensure that private events, catering, and banquets are successfully executed, and that employee performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing, with staff, clients, and the public.
  • Ability to demonstrate and impose upon service staff the ability to service guests with the utmost care, service, and excellence, utilizing the highest standards of service techniques.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work as a team, stay organized, handle various projects at one time, lead others, and delegate.
  • Ability to speak to guests fluently regarding the food, beverage, and overall concept, and to maintain frequent communication with the Executive Team.
