About the Opportunity

McMaster University invites applications for an Academic Emergency Physician, a full-time faculty position within the Division of Emergency Medicine.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will contribute to the academic mission of the Faculty and Division, with a focus on undergraduate and/or postgraduate education. This role requires collaboration with departmental and divisional colleagues to achieve academic excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor students in emergency medicine
  • Conduct research and publish scholarly work
  • Participate in curriculum development and evaluation
Requirements

Applicants must be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC or equivalent) in Emergency Medicine and licensed in the Province of Ontario. A minimum of 2 years experience as an Academic Emergency Physician is required.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $250,000-$300,000 CAD, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
