Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team in providing exceptional service to the pulp and paper industry. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of quality control equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and maintenance services for quality control equipment remotely or on-site.
- Perform inspections, repairs, and installations at our campus and customer sites.
- Offer telephone support to customers and exceed their expectations by anticipating their needs.
- Identify business opportunities and collaborate with ABB teams to drive growth.
- A DEC in electronics or instrumentation.
- Bilingual in English and French (French is required, and English is necessary for communication with customers outside Quebec).
- More than 5 years of experience in customer service.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in servicing, maintenance, commissioning, and repair of pulp and paper quality control equipment.
- Excellent mechanical skills and good knowledge of the Windows environment and Office suite.
- A valid driver's license and passport are required.
- Availability for travel to customer sites.
- An estimated salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on location and experience.
