Job Summary:

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join its Corporate Treasury team as Director, Enterprise Liquidity Risk Measurement.

The successful candidate will lead the development of state-of-the-art liquidity risk measurement practices, ensuring the bank's risk measurement capabilities are strategic and effective. This role requires a deep understanding of banks' balance sheets and financial market instruments, as well as strong collaborative and communication skills.

In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, the Director will be responsible for leading a team of risk experts in the timely and accurate production of liquidity risk metrics for both internal and external users. They will also provide insights and analysis of changes in the bank's liquidity risk profile to businesses, senior management, and executives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing liquidity risk measurement processes and tools
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for liquidity measurement
  • Providing strategic guidance on liquidity risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Mentoring and coaching team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a high-profile risk area, with exposure to all major businesses within the bank. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of RBC's businesses and liquidity risk exposures, and how they impact the bank's overall risk profile.

The estimated salary for this position is $200,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The job is based in Toronto, Ontario, and requires 37.5 hours of work per week.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that reports to the Office of the CFO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, financial services, and leadership. They will possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
