About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Liquidity Risk Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Finance & Accounting department, you will play a vital role in optimizing risks and maximizing risk-adjusted profitability through the build, management, and execution of an enterprise-wide, intraday liquidity management framework.

The successful candidate will provide expertise on the measurement, analysis, and oversight of the Bank's global regulatory and internal intraday liquidity risks arising from business/group business activities. You will develop a solid understanding of business strategies and in-depth product, market, and regulatory knowledge across all retail, commercial, and trading products and their impact on liquidity risk.

Responsibilities
  • Intraday Liquidity Solutions: Recommend and implement intraday liquidity solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business.
  • Risk Management Strategy: Support development and execution of Enterprise's intraday liquidity risk management strategy for executive and Board approval in collaboration with Market Risk Management.
  • Liquidity Risk Measurement: Develop processes to identify, measure, and manage liquidity and funding risks in conjunction with Market Risk Management, businesses, and other Finance areas.
  • Trusted Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group on liquidity and funding matters including recovery and resolution planning.
  • Data Analysis: Develop and maintain the model and assumption framework used to measure liquidity and funding risk and recommends changes.
  • Emerging Issues: Identify emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making and understand risk drivers.
  • Solutions Implementation: Recommend and implement solutions based on risk assessments, analysis of issues, and implications for the business.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant Experience: Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong Knowledge: Strong knowledge and technical proficiency gained through education and business experience.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of $81,600 - $151,200 per annum, paid bi-weekly, plus performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
