Senior Manager, Asset Management Compliance

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Research Strategy and Insights to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Global Brand & Customer Insights team, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to the overall success of our organization across Canadian and international mandates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute market research strategies for stakeholders across the Scotiabank Group of Companies, ensuring business strategies, plans, and initiatives are executed in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
- Design and deliver end-to-end research projects, leveraging in-house tools and resources when suitable, and identifying and managing vendor relationships with high-quality partners.
- Provide direction in the use of market research analytical techniques and coordinate, analyze, and present market research data to advise stakeholders or senior management on the best ways to action insights.
- Foster trust with internal stakeholders, including key senior leaders across the organization, to leverage insights to influence business strategies and decisions.
Requirements:
- Advanced level of experience in market research (8 or more years), preferably on the vendor or client-side.
- Thorough understanding of the end-to-end process of quantitative and qualitative market research.
- Proven ability to translate and communicate business requirements into technical research project specifications.
- Extensive working knowledge of multi-variant statistical techniques.
- Demonstrated project management skills - ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Expert knowledge of SPSS, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Aware and knowledgeable of emerging market research techniques.
- Fluency in Spanish highly desirable.
- Completed an undergraduate university degree or college, such as commerce, mathematics, or computer science.
- Completed Market Research certificate program, an asset.
- Specialized qualitative training, Qualitative Research Associate designation, an asset.
