About the Role:
As a key member of our warehouse team at Walmart Canada, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that merchandise is processed and delivered efficiently to the sales floor. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and process direct and local shipments, including OMNI merchandise and alcohol, to ensure timely delivery to the sales floor.
- Train other warehouse associates on receiving area processes and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, including preparing returns and claims for prompt shipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulations, including proper lifting procedures and use of equipment.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager and Office Support Associate to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
- Safeguard backdoor and key controls to prevent unauthorized access.
Requirements:
- Age 16 or older
Salary and Benefits:
The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.85 per hour. With relevant experience, your rate of pay will be determined accordingly. As a valued member of our team, you will also have access to comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth and development.
