Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned senior executive to join our executive leadership team as the Chief Operating Officer. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the Company's strategic direction and utilize the latest technological tools and methods to enable data analysis and forecasting that ground the company's strategy and ensure we remain ahead of industry trends and developments.

Responsibilities
  • Offer strategic contributions and feedback to the CEO and other executive management team members to create an agile business.
  • Successfully scale-up the first of our BC-based manufacturing operations and lead the expansion toward a second facility in Ontario.
  • Lead the Manufacturing, Project Execution, and People domains.
  • Relentlessly drive down complexity both in operations and manufacturing processes.
  • Foster and encourage an agile approach towards fast innovation and technological leadership.
  • Ensure internal controls and policy compliance are robust.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of assets and protection of Intellectual Property.
  • Advise the executive leadership team and Board of Directors on operations related long-term business issues.
  • Understand and evaluate operational and associated financial risks and identify how to avoid or minimize their impact.
Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in manufacturing operations or scaling operations in emerging markets.
