Our client is a renowned High-Rise construction company, known for delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. With a robust pipeline full of exciting new projects, they specialize in new build high-rise projects and pride themselves on the collaborative efforts within their teams, allowing them to undertake large-scale work, bringing them to the front of the construction industry.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients and stakeholders to define project controls, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Draft and manage contracts for consultants, specialists, and contractors, including endorsements, amendments, and change orders.
  • Oversee consultant services, including drawings, specifications, supervision, and work acceptance.
  • Attend site meetings with professionals and subcontractors to ensure project alignment and resolve issues.
  • Monitor project costs, manage change orders, and supervise all site activities.
  • Contribute to the development and updating of project schedules and participate in contract negotiations.
  • Manage customer and subcontractor payment requests, review shop drawings and samples, and address technical questions related to plans and specifications.
  • Monitor and resolve "Conflict Detections" during BIM project execution and ensure effective handling of project deficiencies and amendments.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a heavy focus on High-Rise condo developments.
  • A minimum of 2 completed High-Rise projects is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple multi-million dollar projects efficiently.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Preferred: Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, with PMP certification or similar being a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of OBC.
