Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement design strategies for residential projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, local regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Lead the design development process, including initial concept development, design revisions, and final approvals.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, providing design recommendations and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other consultants to ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are adhered to.
  • Manage and mentor a team of junior designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support on project designs.
  • Ensure all design work is compliant with local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and technology to implement innovative design solutions.
  • Lead design presentations and meetings with stakeholders, providing clear communication and updates on project progress.

Requirements:

  • 3-year Architectural Diploma or related field (required).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in architectural design, specifically in residential or home design projects.
  • Previous experience managing design teams and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
