Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes that showcase our Indian cuisine
- Plan and execute menu cycles to ensure consistency and variety
- Chef Management
- Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure they are meeting our high standards
- Develop and implement training programs to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels and ordering to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies
- Implement cost-saving measures to reduce waste and improve profitability
- Quality Control
- Ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation
- Conduct regular quality control checks to identify areas for improvement
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to feedback and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Work with our front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and a positive dining experience
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or Head Cook in a high-volume kitchen
- Proven track record of menu planning, execution, and inventory management
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
