About the Role
As a Quality Service Analyst at Community Living BC, you will be responsible for representing the organization as the primary point of contact for service providers.
Key Accountabilities
- Contract Development and Negotiation: Develop service contracts or agreements and negotiate costing details and quantities with service providers.
- Contract Management: Negotiate contract costing and advise on requirements for corrective action in contracted service delivery.
- Service Coordination: Consult with facilitators about support requests, service availability, and resource suitability.
- Monitoring and Quality Assurance: Conduct on-site monitoring reviews and investigate competency and service issues.
- Crisis Support: Work with facilitators to assist individuals and their families who are experiencing a crisis.
- Service Development: Recruit and develop new service relationships.
- Collaboration and Cost-Sharing: Ensure service collaboration and develop cost-sharing agreements.
- Funding and Budget Management: Liaise with key staff regarding current funding limitations or delays and participate as a team member in local budget management.
- Financial Review: Review financial reports to ensure delivery of services for approved funding supports.
Qualifications
- Education: Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Social Work, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Experience working in the social services sector in areas such as resource development or contract management.
- Equivalent Combination: An equivalent combination of relevant education/experience may be considered.
Additional Requirements
- Driver's License: Possession of a Class 5 driver's license and a clean driver's abstract are required.
- Hybrid Work Arrangement: Hybrid work combines on-site office work with flexibility to work from home within BC after passing a 6-month probationary period.
- Travel: Occasional travel required.
