Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at THE MASALA BAY. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Estimate and manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet the highest quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports, ensuring that our food service operations are financially sustainable.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
- Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules, ensuring that staff are adequately trained and equipped to perform their duties.
- Work Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Willing to relocate and have relocation costs covered by the employer.
- Language: Fluent in English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
