We are seeking a skilled Landscape Worker to join our team at SPRUCE GARDEN LTD.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with landscape constructions, ensuring high-quality results and attention to detail.
- Tie and secure plants, utilizing knowledge of horticulture and plant care.
- Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Cut grass, rake, and collect refuse, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Cart and spread topsoil and other materials, demonstrating physical stamina and endurance.
- Lay sod or seed, applying knowledge of soil composition and plant growth.
- Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, showcasing expertise in horticulture and landscaping.
- Apply fertilizers, ensuring optimal plant health and growth.
- Repair and maintain equipment, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, demonstrating a commitment to sustainability.
- Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
- Tree removal, utilizing knowledge of arboriculture and safety procedures.
- Work outdoors, exposed to various weather conditions and physical demands.
- Work at heights, requiring a strong sense of balance and spatial awareness.
- Handle heavy loads, demonstrating physical strength and endurance.
- Physically demanding, requiring sustained activity and attention to detail.
- Manual dexterity, necessary for tasks such as pruning and planting.
- Bending, crouching, and kneeling, essential for tasks such as weeding and raking.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, demonstrating a solid foundation in education.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience, showcasing adaptability and a willingness to learn.
- Work Term: Permanent, offering stability and security.
- Work Language: English, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Hours: 32 hours per week, providing a balanced work-life schedule.
