Hotel Operations Manager

Fairfield Inn & Suites Marriott Barrie is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel General Manager to lead our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences and achieve business objectives.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the efficient operation of hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Financial Management: Manage hotel budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure profitability and growth.
- Guest Experience: Ensure that all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience, with prompt and efficient service.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, improve guest satisfaction, and increase revenue.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a hotel management role.
- Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a large workload.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, organized, and a team player.
