Job Title: Hotel General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel General Manager to lead our team at Fairfield Inn & Suites Marriott Barrie. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and motivate a high-performing team, setting clear goals and expectations to drive results.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
  • Financial Management: Manage hotel budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction through effective communication, problem-solving, and proactive issue resolution.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, improve market share, and increase revenue.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a senior hotel management role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. Proven track record of driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.
