Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager I to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a small-sized branch and team, promoting a positive customer and colleague experience, and driving business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience
    • Manage the service and advice team to promote a positive customer experience
    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of service and advice colleagues to improve the overall customer experience
    • Coach to ensure customer issues are handled appropriately through customer problem resolution guidelines
  • Business Development
    • Communicate national, regional, and district strategies to the team and ensure alignment of branch strategies
    • Lead the development and implementation of service and advice strategies to achieve business objectives
    • Plan and execute business development activities, review and communicate results
  • Operational Excellence
    • Manage overall budget, revenue, and expenditures to meet business objectives
    • Coach and develop colleagues to proactively identify customer product and services needs
    • Identify and develop relationships with existing customers and external referral sources
  • Colleague Development
    • Responsible for management of the overall team, providing leadership and guidance
    • Set targets and objectives for the team and hold them accountable to deliver results
    • Grow team expertise to align with business/enterprise demand and direction
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Branch Compliance Officer (BCO) course
  • IFIC or CSC
