Biological Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Biological Research Scientist to join our team at the University Health Network. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for conducting research in immunology and neuroscience, supervising laboratory technical personnel, and producing reports.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct research in immunology and neuroscience
- Supervise laboratory technical personnel, medical clinical personnel, graduate students, research scientists, and other professionals
- Produce reports, recruit and hire staff, prepare research papers, educational texts, or articles, conduct interviews, deliver presentations, offer mentoring, and present materials at conferences or symposia
- Prepare funding and grant applications and proposals, prepare funding applications, locate funding for the project
- Doctorate degree in a relevant field
- 5 years or more of experience in research
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
