About the RoleThe Overnight Steward plays a critical role in ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and service in our Food and Beverage outlets. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize china, glass, and silver using a dish machine
- Maintain the sanitation of all major kitchen equipment, culinary, and food and beverage facilities
- Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
- Maintain the silver polishing program
- Utilize and handle cleaning supplies and chemicals in a safe manner
- Sort, polish, and transport silver; designate damaged pieces for repair
- Capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Preferred qualifications include prior experience in stewarding or cleaning.
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is desirable.
- Demonstrates the ability to quickly and positively establish rapport with a positive outlook.
- Possesses excellent communication skills.
- Must be available to work overnights.
- Ability to work in Canada.
- Access to affordable shared staff accommodation.
