Job Title: Security Site Supervisor

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Site Supervisor to join our team. As a Security Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the security operations at our Welded Tube site in Welland, ON.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of five security guards and ensure they are performing their duties effectively.
  • Assist in addressing operational security needs for the site, including ensuring all Paladin policies and procedures are enforced.
  • Main point of contact for all visitors, contractors, and transport trucks, ensuring proper vetting before allowing access to admin buildings and secured areas.
  • Responsible for issuing area-specific access cards and preparing and reviewing daily reports.
  • Support management during emergencies, including crowd control, site security, and accounting for people on site.
  • Scheduling and coordination of coverage and site-specific training for new guards assigned to this site.
  • Random patrol auditing and providing reminders and additional training to guards when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Valid Ontario Security License.
  • First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • Previous security supervisor experience preferred.
  • Valid Ontario G Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract.
  • Post-secondary education in a law enforcement/security-related program preferred.
  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation would be considered an asset.
  • Available to be on call 24/7 for emergency situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other programs.
  • Must own a reliable, working vehicle.
  • Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB).
