Position Overview

This role with Shared Health requires a highly skilled and experienced senior technologist to lead the team in performing routine and emergency diagnostic imaging procedures. The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical radiography and be certified by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with professional and provincial guidelines.
  • Assist in the general operation of the department and maintain a safe environment.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance programs and maintain standards put forth by Accreditation.
  • Lead and supervise junior technologists and provide guidance and support as needed.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved medical radiography program with certification by CAMRT.
  • Minimum three years recent related work experience, with supervisory experience an asset.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Fluent language skills in both English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
