Job Overview

The Senior Radiology Technologist will be responsible for assisting in the general operation of the department, performing routine and emergency Diagnostic Imaging procedures, and maintaining a safe environment in accordance with professional and provincial guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Diagnostic Imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Assist in the general operation of the department, including maintaining a safe environment and ensuring compliance with quality assurance programs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve departmental efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved Medical Radiography program with attained certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
  • Minimum three years recent related work experience preferred.
  • Supervisory experience an asset.
  • Fluent language skills (written and oral) in both French and English may be required.
