Job Description

Job Title: Design Director - Municipal Water and Sewage Infrastructure

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Director to lead our municipal water and sewage infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of complex water and wastewater systems, ensuring that our clients receive high-quality solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary design teams to deliver municipal water and sewage infrastructure projects
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs
  • Oversee the preparation of engineering reports, calculations, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Mentor and develop junior technical engineering staff to ensure the growth and development of our team
  • Contribute to the preparation of engineering proposals and business development initiatives to drive growth and revenue
  • Ensure that all project outputs meet the highest standards of quality and are delivered on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the design and delivery of municipal water and sewage infrastructure projects
  • Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with project management software and tools
  • PMP certification is an asset
