Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced psychiatrist to join our team as a Staff Psychiatrist, Consultation-Liaison. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background and be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the University of Toronto.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultation-liaison services for transitional rehabilitation patients at Humber River Reactivation Centre and Pine Villa.
  • Offer addiction psychiatry and pain psychiatry consultation to patients at the Bayview site.
  • Join the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry team and provide inpatient and outpatient consultation-liaison services, as well as general outpatient psychiatric care.
Requirements
  • Hold an MD degree and be certified (or eligible for certification) by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
  • Be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the Province of Ontario.
  • Have advanced training in addiction psychiatry and pain psychiatry.
  • Have a track record of excellence in teaching.
What We Offer

Compensation will be based on a fee-for-service structure with additional funding through Academic and Educational Trust Funds and/or departmentally sanctioned administrative roles.
