Job Title: Architectural Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join our team at Stantec. As an Architectural Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of building projects, ensuring that they meet the required standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure that construction is being carried out in accordance with plans and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff members.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or technical school in Building or Architectural Technology or equivalent in related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
