Job Title: Architectural Technician

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join our team at Stuart Howard Architects Inc. As an Architectural Technician, you will play a key role in the design and development of our projects, working closely with our team of architects and engineers to ensure that our designs are accurate, efficient, and meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed technical drawings and models using computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Analyze technical documents and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assist in supervising construction projects, including monitoring progress and identifying potential issues
  • Prepare working drawings and specifications for construction projects
  • Write technical reports and specifications for construction projects
  • Monitor and inspect work to ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes
  • Estimate costs and materials for construction projects
  • Assist in design development, including creating 3D models and presentations
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as an Architectural Technician
  • Strong knowledge of CAD software and building information modeling (BIM) techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
