Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Wound Care Specialist to provide wound and ostomy care services to patients in our clinics and community settings. As a Wound Care Specialist, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with a variety of wound etiologies and wound care modalities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide wound and ostomy care services to patients in our clinics and community settings
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their wound care needs
  • Develop and implement individualized wound care plans to promote optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest wound care research and evidence-based practices

Requirements:

  • Graduate of Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence Canada (NSWOCC, formerly CAET)
  • Several years of escalating experience managing wounds and ostomies
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Current immunization record including 2 step TB test
