About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team at Kuehne + Nagel AS as a Sea Logistics Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion in the sea logistics market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, and negotiate sales agreements to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain expertise on Kuehne + Nagel's sea logistics product offerings, including FCL, LCL, special equipment, consolidations, trans-loading, and drayage services.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the sea logistics market.
  • Reporting and Administration: Maintain accurate records and reports, including sales activity reports, customer interactions, and market analysis.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in field sales, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proactive and customer-focused, with excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of sea logistics services, including FCL, LCL, special equipment, consolidations, trans-loading, and drayage services.
