Job Title: Excavator Operator

GS Construction is seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, conducting pre-operational checks, and performing minor repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate backhoe excavators, loaders, and trenchers in various locations, including sewers and water mains.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and perform minor repairs as needed.
  • Clean and lubricate equipment, and refill equipment tanks.
  • Prepare accident reports and secure special attachments to equipment.
  • Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in dusty and dangerous environments.
  • Physically demanding work with attention to detail.
  • Fast-paced environment with overtime required.
