Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

GS Construction is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, loaders, and trenchers
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
  • Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment
  • Secure special attachments to equipment
  • Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
Work Environment:

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will work outdoors in various locations, including construction sites, sewers, and water mains. You will be exposed to dusty and potentially dangerous environments.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and physical stamina required
