Key Responsibilities of the Construction Project Leader include:
Ensuring the comprehensive management of construction activities to align with the project’s design, budget, and timeline.

Accountable for the overall performance and reporting of the project, focusing on critical areas such as safety, budget adherence, scheduling, quality assurance, and project updates.

Regularly evaluates project metrics, including performance, timelines, costs, resources, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Conducts site evaluations, including safety assessments.
Leads by example to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and standards.
Provides mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations for team members and direct reports.
Manages the project lifecycle from initial planning through to completion.

Requires 5-10 years of relevant Canadian construction experience as a Project Manager, having successfully completed various institutional construction and renovation projects.

~ Must have successfully overseen one complete new institutional build.
~ Must have managed one full renovation of an institutional facility.
~ Experience in overseeing substantial contracts involving various trades, consultants, and construction management entities.
~ Proficient in project management and cost estimation software.
~ Understanding of applicable construction regulations and building codes.
