We are seeking a highly skilled Radiological Technologist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while operating radiological equipment with minimal supervision.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiological technology, with experience in computed tomography (CT) scanning. You will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic procedures, including CT scans, while ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
We are looking for a team player who is able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient-centered care, with a focus on delivering high-quality services in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication.

About You- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology
- Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification
- Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure
- CT experience preferred
- CAMRT CT courses or CT Imaging Certificate an asset
- Previous experience is an asset
- Qualification to work in more than one Diagnostic Imaging modality is an asset
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Ability to use time effectively by organizing and prioritizing duties, while working independently and under minimal supervision
- Possess the physical capabilities to perform the duties of the position
- Demonstrates initiative, organizational and prioritizing skills; and the demonstrated the ability to work collaboratively within inter-professional teams
- Comprehension of the technical language to be able to review and use manuals and take part in relevant discussions
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
- Permanent full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
- Shift work and call required, evenings, nights, and weekends
