Director of Housing Development

WoodGreen is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our Housing Growth and Development team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our housing portfolio through strategic partnerships and innovative development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy for WoodGreen's housing portfolio, including partnerships with private and non-profit developers.
- Lead the development and management of new affordable housing projects, from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication across the organization.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community partners, developers, and government agencies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Housing Growth and Development team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
- Related post-secondary degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in affordable housing development and management.
- Strong technical competencies in new housing development and acquisitions processes, including land acquisition, business/feasibility assessment, and municipal approvals.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to coach and collaborate with team members.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of affordable housing policies and regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
- A competitive salary range of $100,000 - $110,000.
