Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Chef to join our team at Classic Indian Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and specialty foods for events and regular customers.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets and regular customers.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 5 years or more of experience in the culinary industry.
  • Ability to work in a noisy and hot environment.
  • Ability to work in a restaurant, central food commissary, catering firm, bistro, or fast food setting.
