Job Title: Sous Chef

Morty's Pub is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and preparation
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff
  • Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to achieve culinary excellence
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
