About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) at Delta Hospital. The successful candidate will provide direct nursing care to patients recovering from anaesthetics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess post-anaesthetic patients and develop a plan of care based on their needs.
  • Provide critical care to patients as required, including initiating treatment and modifying care as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with the interprofessional care team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing and current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • One year's recent relevant clinical nursing experience in the designated clinical area.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, communicate effectively, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
