Job Title: Manager, CMHC MUR Financing

Meridian is seeking an experienced Manager, CMHC MUR Financing to join our team. As a key member of our Business Banking team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our CMHC multi-unit residential (MUR) lending program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow Meridian's CMHC MUR lending business, including identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Director, CMHC MUR Financing to develop and implement policies and procedures related to CMHC MUR lending.
  • Collaborate with the Business Banking Operations team to ensure seamless delivery of CMHC MUR lending services to our members.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key CMHC personnel and other industry stakeholders to stay up-to-date on market trends and regulatory changes.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to our members on CMHC MUR lending products and services.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience working in the CMHC MUR market, preferably with experience as an underwriter within CMHC or as an originator/underwriter with a CMHC approved lender and/or approved correspondent.
  • Extensive knowledge of CMHC's MUR lending programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce/business or economics.
  • Demonstrated strength in all aspects of business development, including analytical, due diligence, negotiation, credit underwriting, and adjudication skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
