About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at CELCO DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all painting and decorating work is completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring they are free from dust, dirt, and other contaminants.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure surfaces remain in good condition.
  • Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired colour and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces using a variety of techniques.
  • Finishing Touches: Apply wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to quality in all aspects of your work.
  • Hand-Eye Coordination: Possess good hand-eye coordination and dexterity, enabling you to work efficiently and effectively.
  • Colour Recognition: Be able to distinguish between colours and ensure that all painting and decorating work is completed to the correct colour standard.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment, lifting and carrying heavy materials as required.
