About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at Cworth Developments ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all interior and exterior surfaces are finished to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring they are free from dust, dirt, and other contaminants.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure surfaces remain in good condition.
  • Paint and Wallpaper Application: Mix paint to the desired colour and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces using a variety of techniques.
  • Wall Covering Specialist: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a seamless and professional finish.
  • Colour Consultation: Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings, taking into account their personal preferences and design goals.
  • Scaffolding and Rigging: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as required, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and schedule work to ensure timely completion.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
