Job Summary:

Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agricultural Operations Manager to lead the Agro Centre team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the planning and day-to-day execution of the Agro Centre, ensuring the successful implementation of programs and policies in areas such as brand management, customer service, quality control, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Agro Centre team, ensuring the effective execution of sales strategies and customer relationship management.
  • Develop and implement marketing and merchandising plans, including displays, promotions, and pricing strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and asset protection policies and procedures, overseeing the safe handling and storage of inventory and equipment.
  • Prepare and administer budgets, achieving goals related to pricing, sales margins, expenses, and inventory management.
  • Lead the Agro Centre team, including recruitment, goal setting, performance management, training, and development of team members.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in agriculture, including 5+ years of leadership experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with team members.
  • Results-oriented and committed to excellence, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
